In 2004, the first FAHRER pant straps were made from recycled truck tarpaulins in a shared apartment in Berlin and sold at design Christmas markets.
The market was very popular, so Joachim Leffler decided to continue manufacturing the pant straps. Product photos were taken, an Internet presence was established and the first dealers were acquired to sell the FAHRER tapes.
